Each layer represents something about me and my upbringing/personality. The eye on my face is supposed to represent how I view myself (the layers behind me). The photo of me is just my exterior, how the outside world views me. The idea behind the eye was inspired by the book The Great Gatsby, where the billboard of Dr. TJ Eckleburg’s eyes are painted. The eyes are supposed to represent God staring how upon society, making judgements.
