I really like how you chose to do the woodwork on the island cabinets. I think the extra lines and outlines make it feel more detailed than just turning the whole island black.

I am still on the fence as to whether the floor plane needs more activation. Like a cat silhoutte curled up on the floor or one black tile….at times the empty white space becomes just paper and that makes me question whether or not it needs actvation. Regardless, you did a great job!
I love the contrast of the countertop and the edge of the island. It creates depth and the illusion of a three dimensional space.
